Founded in 1990 by Jess Jackson, the Legacy label was first created to mark the finest cellar-worthy reds from his mountainous Stonestreet Estate. With the launch of a heritage clone Chardonnay in 2018 and acquisition of the historic Field Stone vineyard by the Jackson family, Legacy grew into something still greater – a standalone project that celebrates the past, present and future of Alexander Valley.
Legacy’s Red Wine and Chardonnay are hand-selected from the appellation’s soaring mountain estates, hidden heritage sites, and storied old vines. Crafted by winemaker Graham Weerts since 2004, these wines capture the soul of Alexander Valley in each vintage.
